Community Guidelines
Last Updated: October 19, 2026
Boop Boop is a friendly place for people 13 and up to raise pets and show them off to friends. These guidelines apply to your display name, your pet's name, and every interaction with other players. They are part of our Terms of Service.
These guidelines describe what we expect of you. They do not create any obligation for us to monitor, review, moderate, or act on any content, user, or report. Any action we take is at our sole discretion.
1. Be Kind
- Treat friends and their pets with respect
- No bullying, harassment, intimidation, or targeted abuse
- Don't pressure anyone to accept a friend request, or to send you anything
2. Keep Names Appropriate
Display names and pet names must not include:
- Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
- Sexual, violent, or drug-related references
- Threats or insults aimed at a person
- Personal information, such as your real full name, phone number, address, school, or social media handles
- Impersonation of another person, a brand, or Boop Boop staff
- Spam, links, or advertising
3. Stay Safe
- Keep your personal information private, and don't ask others for theirs
- Only add friends you know
- Never agree to meet someone in person because of the App
- Tell a parent, guardian, or trusted adult if anyone makes you uncomfortable
- Child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form is never allowed, and is reported to authorities where the law requires
4. Play Fair
- No cheats, hacks, mods, bug exploits, or clock manipulation
- No buying, selling, or trading accounts or items outside the App
- One account per person
5. Blocking and Reporting
- Block: you can block someone from their profile. Blocking removes them from your friends and prevents new friend requests from them.
- Report: you can report a user from their profile. We may use reports to help keep the community safe, but we do not guarantee that any report will be reviewed, answered, or acted on.
- Emergencies: Boop Boop is not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, contact local emergency services. For other serious concerns, you can email help@mylisto.app.
6. Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, take any action we consider appropriate, including:
- Renaming a display name or pet name
- Issuing a warning
- Restricting friends features
- Suspending or terminating an account
We may also choose to take no action. Not acting on a violation does not waive our right to act on it or on similar conduct later.
7. Appeals
If you think we made a mistake, you may email help@mylisto.app with your username and an explanation. We may review appeals at our discretion. We are not obligated to respond to an appeal or to change any decision.
8. Updates
We may update these guidelines at any time. Updated guidelines take effect when posted.
